Highlights & Route
This yatra joins three of the most revered places of Uttar Pradesh in one unhurried trip: Kashi, the city of Lord Shiva on the banks of the Ganga; Prayagraj, where the Ganga, Yamuna and the unseen Saraswati meet at the Triveni Sangam; and Ayodhya, the birthplace of Shri Ram. All three lie within a few hours’ drive of each other, so the whole circuit fits comfortably into five days.
You spend two nights in Varanasi, which gives time for an early-morning Kashi Vishwanath darshan, the evening Ganga Aarti on the ghats and a visit to Sarnath without rushing. From there a private AC vehicle takes you to Prayagraj for the Sangam snan, and then on to Ayodhya, where the yatra closes with a morning darshan at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.
The plan is built for families and elderly yatris. Drives are kept to one long stretch a day, temple visits are timed to avoid the worst crowds where possible, and meals are pure vegetarian. If anyone in your group needs a wheelchair, a slower pace or a ground-floor room, tell us while booking and we will plan around it.
Pickup is in Varanasi and drop is in Ayodhya, so you can book a one-way train or flight in each direction. Our team in Dehradun stays in touch with you by phone and WhatsApp throughout the yatra.
Route
Varanasi (2 nights) → Sarnath (day visit) → Prayagraj (1 night) → Ayodhya (1 night) → drop at Ayodhya airport or railway station
Good to know before you book
- Mobile phones are not allowed inside the Kashi Vishwanath temple area or the Ram Mandir premises. Leave them at the hotel or in the lockers near the entry gates.
- Sugam (queue-less) Darshan at Kashi Vishwanath is a paid service sold by the temple trust. Book it only on the official website, shrikashivishwanath.org, and avoid anyone offering quick darshan for cash near the gates.
- Darshan and aarti passes for the Ram Mandir are issued free of charge by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust through its online portal. Walk-in darshan is also available.
- On big festival days (Mahashivratri, Shravan Mondays, Dev Deepawali, Ram Navami, Diwali) temples may suspend online bookings or special darshan, and queues can run for several hours.
- Wear simple, modest clothes for temple visits and carry very little: a small cloth bag, ID card and some cash is enough.
