Who we are
Yatra to Temples is a small pilgrimage travel team based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. We are not a booking website that passes your enquiry on to someone else. Our founder plans and runs the yatras personally, travelling the same roads season after season.
Because we live at the foot of the Himalaya, the roads to the Dhams are our home ground. We know how the weather turns, where the halts are comfortable, and how registration and permits work each season. Our job is to take care of all of that so your family can keep its mind on darshan.
Why yatris travel with us
- You speak to the person who plans your yatra. Questions are answered directly by phone or WhatsApp, not through a call centre.
- Clear plans before you pay. We share the day-wise plan, what is included and what is not, in writing.
- Care for elders. We plan easy days, suggest pony, palki or helicopter options where they exist, and keep the pace gentle for senior citizens.
- Help with paperwork. We guide you through Char Dham registration, Kedarnath helicopter booking rules and permits for Adi Kailash and Kailash.
- Honest advice. If the weather, a road closure or your health makes a plan unsafe, we will tell you plainly and suggest another way.
How a yatra with us works
- Enquiry. Call, WhatsApp or fill the call-back form. Tell us which yatra, how many people, their ages and your preferred dates.
- Plan. We suggest a route, hotels and vehicle to suit your group, and send you a written plan with the cost.
- Registration help. Once you confirm, we help each yatri complete the official registration and any permits the route needs, with details exactly as on their ID.
- Travel. Our vehicle and driver meet you at the agreed pick-up point. We stay in touch with you throughout the trip.
- Darshan. We plan the day around temple timings and queues so you can have darshan without rushing.
- Home. We drop you back at the agreed point, and we are always glad to hear how the yatra went for you.
