Highlights & Route
This package covers all four dhams of Uttarakhand by road, starting and ending in Haridwar. We go in the traditional order: Yamunotri first, then Gangotri, then Kedarnath, and finally Badrinath. Many families prefer this sequence because it follows the classic west-to-east circuit and saves the long Kedarnath climb for the middle of the yatra, once the body has had a few days in the hills.
We have kept the plan to 10 nights so that nobody has to rush. You get an arrival evening in Haridwar for the Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri, two nights each at Barkot and Uttarkashi, a night at Kedarnath itself so you can attend the early morning darshan without hurrying back down, and a night at Badrinath for both evening and morning darshan. This pace suits elderly parents and first-time yatris much better than a squeezed schedule.
Travel is in a private vehicle with a driver who knows the mountain roads. Stays are in clean, simple hotels and guesthouses near each dham, with pure vegetarian breakfast and dinner. Our Dehradun team helps with the compulsory Uttarakhand yatra registration and stays in touch with you throughout the yatra.
Kedarnath and Yamunotri both involve a trek from the last road point. If walking is difficult, ponies, palkis and porters are available locally, and helicopter seats for Kedarnath can be tried through the official IRCTC HeliYatra website. Tell us about any health concerns when you enquire, and we will suggest the most comfortable option.

Good to know before you book
- Registration with the Uttarakhand Government is compulsory for every yatri, and it is free. Your registration letter (with QR code) is checked at the dhams.
- Kedarnath temple stands at about 3,583 m. The walking route from Gaurikund is roughly 16–17 km one way and usually takes 6 to 8 hours uphill.
- Helicopter tickets for Kedarnath are sold online only on heliyatra.irctc.co.in, and you need your yatra registration number before you can book.
- The dhams open in late April or May and close for winter around October–November. Exact 2027 opening dates are announced by the temple committees, usually in early spring, and we will add them here once they are announced.
- Mountain roads can be blocked by landslides, especially in the monsoon months of July and August, so keep a little flexibility in your return travel plans.
- Phones and cameras are not allowed inside many temple areas. Please follow the instructions of the temple staff.
