Highlights & Route
Three days is the comfortable minimum for Kashi. It allows one evening for the Ganga Aarti, one dawn on the river, one unhurried morning for Kashi Vishwanath and the temples around it, an afternoon at Sarnath and still leaves a little time for the lanes, the silk shops and simply sitting on a ghat. This package is built on that rhythm, with two nights in a hotel of your chosen category and a private AC vehicle for every transfer.
The first evening belongs to Dashashwamedh Ghat and the aarti, followed by a short walk in the old-city market. The second day starts before sunrise on a boat and continues into the Kashi Vishwanath Dham for darshan of the Jyotirlinga, Annapurna and Kaal Bhairav. After lunch we drive out to Sarnath, where the Buddha preached his first sermon, and return via Durga Kund and Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple. The last morning is free for a second darshan, shopping or rest before your train or flight.
We plan for families and elderly yatris: temple visits early when queues are short, a vehicle waiting as close as the lanes permit, and a coordinator who handles lockers, footwear and the small practical matters of a crowded temple city. Meals are pure vegetarian. If you would like to add Rudrabhishek, a special puja at the Ganga or a day to Prayagraj or Ayodhya, we will adjust the plan.

Good to know before you book
- Kashi Vishwanath is open from the Mangala Aarti (around 3 am) until the Shayan Aarti at night, with a midday break for Bhog Aarti; early morning has the shortest queue.
- Phones, cameras, bags and leather items are not allowed inside Kashi Vishwanath; lockers are at the gates.
- Sugam Darshan (Rs 300 per person at the start of 2026) is sold only on the trust’s official website and suspended on major festivals.
- The Ganga Aarti starts just after sunset, roughly 6 pm in winter and 7 pm in summer; reach early for a seat.
- The Sarnath Museum is closed on Fridays; if your Day 2 falls on a Friday we move Sarnath to Day 3 morning.
- Room rates in Varanasi rise steeply around Dev Deepawali, Diwali, Mahashivratri and Shravan; book early for those dates.
